HEALTH AND SOCIAL CHANGE (BA)

A NEW APPROACH TO HEALTHCARE

The healthcare industry needs innovators, changemakers, and social activists now more than ever. In Emerson College’s Health and Social Change (BA) program, you’ll have the opportunity to become part of this new generation of healthcare professionals. You’ll apply the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion to figure out how to improve the US and global healthcare system and policies.

This program takes you beyond traditional health sciences. You will acquire the skills needed to create a new culture of health that engages social justice, communication, and the arts. You’ll examine how issues of race, class, the environment, access, technology, and more contribute to individual, societal, and global health. This program will help you develop the skills and tools you need to implement cultural, policy, and social change.
