Check Your Admission Portal for additional requested information.
The Office of Financial Aid may need to request additional documentation in order to provide an accurate financial aid award. Any requests for documents will appear on your Financial Aid Checklist in your Admission Portal. Additional information about documents or forms that you may need to submit can be found on the Financial Aid webpage.

Review and accept your official financial aid award.
You will be notified when your financial aid award is finalized. You will then need to complete the steps to accept your aid award. Grants and scholarships will automatically be accepted, but you will need to choose whether you wish to accept or decline part or all of any federal loans or federal work study offered.
* Please note: You must be admitted to Emerson in order to receive a financial aid award.

Additional Scholarships and Grants
Supplement Your Federal Aid to Help Pay for Your Education
All students who have completed a FAFSA will be notified of their eligibility to use federal grants and/or Federal Direct Student Loans. Eligibility is based on your calculated Expected Family Contribution (EFC).
Emerson College offers a number of merit-based scholarships and need-based grants to accepted students. All applicants will be automatically considered for merit-based scholarships. All applicants who complete a FAFSA and CSS Profile will be considered for need-based grants.
Some states offer special grants or loans to residents. Please check with your state to learn more about eligibility criteria and any applications you may need to complete.
