JOURNALISM Graduate Programs

Our graduate programs in Journalism emphasize a convergent multimedia approach to storytelling and news reporting. You will learn from faculty mentors who have built successful careers at CNN, CBS, NPR, the Washington Post, and many others. In your first week of classes, you will hit the street reporting to file stories in text, audio, and video formats. Work in our state-of-the-art newsroom and production facility, and gain hands-on experience with industry-standard tools. Through intensive coursework and internships in one of the country’s largest media markets, you will gain the professional edge you need to launch your career as a digital journalist.

Multiple Formats

Our graduate programs in Journalism offer two formats:

Full-Time 13-Month Accelerated MA: Begin and end your courses online; get out of the classroom and into the field that much sooner.

Part-Time MA: Complete your degree over two years, with a mix of available online and residential courses.
